When I say eighties punk, Madonna dressed head to toe in leather, with frizzy crimped hair and un-plucked eyebrows comes to mind.

Lately I noticed traces of longing for the 80s. Both in music and fashion. In music, the disco sound is having its little come back. The synthesizers are again audible all over the charts. Happy, “dancable” music has the right to be played on the radio alongside indie, rock and some cheesy pop.
