I heard this song for the first time yesterday at InSpiral Lounge in Camden Town. It’s my new favourite place in London. And this is my new favourite tune. I wonder how many hundreds of times more I can listen to it before I get sick.
Let me explain why InSpiral is such a special place to me. The very second you step in, you relalize that people in there just look different. I suppose this makes sense because InSpiral is a place promoting organic and healthy food, creativity and freedom of mind and spirit. Did you ever think about how people living that sort of lifestyle usually listen to alternative music and look in a way that leaves no doubt about how they perceive the world?
And the interesting thing is that the look always goes with the music. Have you ever seen anyone wearing one of them huge hemp cardigans or the indian-pattern big and comfy jumpers listening to Kylie Minogue? Or anyone with a lot beads anound their neck and wrists listening to Enrique Iglecias? Or can you imagine a person with dreadlocks tied in a head wrap chilling to Christina Aguillera?
Isn’t it fascinating how people always find ways to manifest their personalities and attitudes? Also, I find it ever so intriguing how music is a catalyst for it. But then, is it music that forms your attitude and look, or is it your attitude that makes you attracted to certain music and look?

An interesting article. I’m listening to the song now and it’s brilliant. I like that the images on the video are so varied, really compliments the complexity of the music. I was surprised though that you heard this in such a place, it sounds more like the stuff you’d here in some very trendy hidden cafe or quirky jazz club. Nonetheless I’m compelled to visit, I’m off to Camden this weekend and I’ll pop in no doubt.

Bonobo is THE thing when it comes to amazing downtempo electronic stuff. Can’t believe you only heard of him now, Aneta! And Kane, I’m digging the quirky jazz club vibe. End of week, maybe
